    Friends of the Delaware Canal Locktender's House

    Learn how locktenders, canal workers and their families lived in the 19th century at the Locktender's House on the Delaware Canal. This restored 19th-century house is open November through April, Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm, and May to October, Monday through Friday 11am to 4pm and weekends from 1pm to 4pm.

    Washington Crossing Historic Park

    This historic park marks the place where George Washington is said to have led his troops across the Delaware River during the American Revolution, surprising the opposing army at Trenton. Encompassing 500 acres, this park contains 13 historic buildings, picnic areas and the Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve. It is open year round, Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.
